We would like to introduce to you the network of PROUD Ropes courses via these web sites. On the web-sites you can find information about programs that are organized in different ropes courses across the PROUD network. You can also find photos, news, video shots and information about the world of ropes activities and the experiential education.
The first ropes course in the Czech Republic was founded in 2000 under the trademark “Lanové Centrum PROUD” (Ropes course PROUD). Today there are eleven ropes courses of the same mark in The Czech Republic (CR) and Slovakia. More than one hundred thousand visitors already attended programs in these courses.
The trademark “PROUD Ropes course” is granted only to those companies whose aim is to establish good-quality facilities and programs for their clients, and who are able to guarantee safe operation of the center. The mark is provided by “Lanové Cetrnum PROUD o.s. (civil corporation).

- All instructors of PROUD The Ropes courses are professionally trained according to methodology accredited by The Czech Ministry of Education.
- All ropes courses are built according to the standards of Association for Challenge Course Technology – ACCT.
- Every Ropes course is regularly inspected according to international standards.
- We always use a system of back up belaying.
- We only use locking carabiners.
- We use full body harnesses.
- Equipment is checked regularly for damage or wear.
- We only use specially tested material suitable for use in ropes courses.
- Taking part in the program is voluntary for every visitor.
